About The Wools

lambswoolLAMBSWOOL
This is considered to be the highest sheep’s wool on the market. Lambswool is taken from a lamb at its first shearing (usually when the lamb is about seven months old). Because of its silkiness, softness and warmth, lambswool can be worn comfortably against the skin. All lambswool products are Total Easy Care meaning they can be machine washed at up to 40c and tumble dried without losing shape, size or colour.

cashmereCASHMERE
Cashmere – one of the world’s most treasured fabrics, originates thousands of miles away on the barren plains of China and Mongolia. Rugged goats, native to the lands, grow an under fleece of soft, short hair to protect themselves against harsh temperatures. Once combed and treated the cashmere is then spun to produce a fine yet strong yarn. The design expertise and craftsmanship of the Scottish knitwear industry transform this yarn into superb cashmere garments. Cashmere is considered the world over as the ultimate luxury.
